Malaysia - Malaysian investigators are trying to recover deleted the last month of the flight simulator installed at the pilot in command of the 777 files gone home, hoping they can shed new light on this mystery, a said Wednesday the Minister of Transport Hishammuddin Hussein.
Mr. Hisshammuddin added during a press conference, Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah is considered innocent until proven guilty, and that family members cooperate in the investigation.
Files simulated flights were deleted on February 3, said the head of the Malaysian police, Khalid Abu. The destruction of these files is nothing abnormal in itself, but investigators want to see if they contain specific data that would indicate where the aircraft could now be found.
The flight MH370 and 239 people aboard missing since March 8. Officials do not exclude any hypothesis yet, but information suggests that the unit has deliberately turned around, flying over Malaysia to the Strait of Malacca, with its off communication systems.
The aircraft continued to send signals to a satellite for more than seven hours after takeoff.
Records and history of all passengers have now been verified, with the exception of three people from the Ukraine and Russia.
Twenty-six countries help Malaysia to seek the plane through one of the largest search operations in recent years. The area search covers over 300000 square kilometers.
